National Education Day Commemoration Ceremony 2 May 2023

The National Education Day Commemoration Ceremony will be held on 2 May 2023 starting at 08:00 am at the UNSRAT Ceremony Field. This ceremony was attended by thousands of participants from leadership elements as well as lecturers and education staff in all faculties and work units at UNSRAT.

Rector Sam Ratulangi University Prof. Dr. Ir. Oktovian Berty Alexander Sompie M.Eng. IPU read the remarks from the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Nadiem Anwar Makarim in his remarks said: "This year's National Education Day is the right time for all of us to reflect back on every challenge we have faced, as well as every inch of the bold steps we have taken. taken by reflecting on the things we have done over the last three years, we can plan our future direction to ensure the continuity and sustainability of the movement Free Learning. The screen that we have spread must not be folded again. All of us educators and education staff, artists and cultural actors, as well as students throughout the archipelago are the captains of a large ship called Indonesia. We must continue the journey, we must continue the struggle so that all children of the nation feel true independence in learning and aspiring."
