UNSRAT Entrepreneurship Center Study in Italy

For a week, from 4 to 8 October 2022, to be exact at the University of Bologna, Yantje Uhing, SE, MS, who is also the Coordinator of the Unsrat Entrepreneurship Center, received training opportunities at the expense of the European Union through Project Smart, Erasmus-Plus. Currently, the Unsrat Entrepreneurship Center is actively developing itself after the Covid 19 pandemic in 2022. Among other things, various efforts to motivate and facilitate student entrepreneurship are also carried out to make them reliable entrepreneurs and have good innovation and competitiveness. “A lot can be learned from the great experience of the University of Bologna which has played a role in producing reliable entrepreneurs and industry in Italy. Relations between the industrial world and the University are also very good, mutually beneficial.

Educational curricula in developed countries also support each other with real needs in the industrial world and society,” explained Yanje Uhing, SE. “This activity is also a series of realizations of the international consortium of 3 top universities in Europe and 7 Indonesian state universities, in which Unsrat is also involved. Cooperation with the theme of entrepreneurship and the relationship between the University and the business world”. This was added by Prof.Dr.Ir.Sangkertadi, DEA, WR4 Unsrat who also participated in this official visit and cooperation training in Italy. The training took place quite tightly and dynamically, from morning to evening, accompanied by discussions and field visits at the object of industrial innovation research owned by the University of Bologna.

The model of Industrial relations with universities applied at the University of Bologna will be tried to be applied at Unsrat, namely as part of the Unsrat Entrepreneurship Center program which is also under LPPM Unsrat, continued Yantje Uhing, SE, MS, who was also supported by Prof.Dr. Ir. Sangkertadi as the Vice Chancellor in charge of Cooperation affairs. As information received, the University of Bologna is also the main partner of a number of strategic Italian industries including Ferrari, Lamborgini, Masserati, Ducati, and other well-known brand industries, where these industries are located around the City of Bologna. He added that on that occasion Unsrat was also officially welcomed by the leaders of the University of Bologna, including 2 Vice Chancellors of the Univ of Bologna. Besides Unsrat, from Indonesia there was also a delegation from ITS Surabaya who acted as the person in charge and leader of the consortium, besides that there were also other consortium members, namely from Univ. Diponegoro, Univ. Maritime Raja Expert Haji (Riau Islands), Univ. Udayana, University of Mataram, Mataram Institute of Technology. Meanwhile, the members of the consortium abroad are Univ. of Bologna, Turku University (Finland), and Agora University (Spain).
