As Chancellor of Sam Ratulangi University, I am honored to convey the vision and mission that form the basis of our efforts to develop this institution. Sam Ratulangi University has set a vision: "Cultural Excellence towards a World Class University". This vision reflects our determination to achieve internationally recognized academic excellence, while still upholding the cultural values ​​that are our identity.

In achieving this vision, we are committed to carrying out the mission: "Leading in Carrying out the Tridharma of Higher Education and as a Center for Innovation in Science, Technology and Arts and Culture to Improve the Level and Quality of Community Life towards a World Class University". This mission emphasizes our role in education, research and community service as the main pillars of the Tridharma of Higher Education. In addition, we focus on developing innovation in science, technology, and arts and culture, which is expected to improve the level and quality of people's lives.
We believe that with synergy between the academic community, community and all stakeholders, Sam Ratulangi University will continue to develop into a superior and cultural university, and be recognized on the international stage.
