The Chancellor Opened the 2018 Market Place Expo on Friday 16 November 2018

Sam Ratulangi University Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir Ellen Joan Kumaat MSc DEA, motivates students to have an entrepreneurial spirit.

He said this when he opened the 2018 Market Place Expo, as a place to show innovation and the ability to capture market opportunities.

“We have to raise the spirit so that all Sam Ratulangi University students, not just participate in Market Place Expo events like this. But it is able to show a potential to be developed," he said Friday (16/11/2018).

Market Place Expo events like this, he continued, as time goes by, the quality must be getting better. Moreover, it has become a routine agenda.

“The products displayed must be more creative and innovative. Don't just do that, but there must be something different from before," he said.

In addition, the Chancellor also hopes that with this activity all faculties can be involved. "Don't just be dominated by the faculties where the market place expo is held," he said while giving the message that this activity can be evaluated, so that in the future it will be even better. Especially can produce young entrepreneurs.
