The 2020 UNSRAT Working Meeting was attended by the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of BRIN and the Governor of North Sulawesi

Sam Ratulangi University held a 2020 Work Meeting on Friday January 17, 2020, UNSRAT Working Unit 2020 took the theme "Dare to Go Digital", Unsrat 2020 Working Meeting participants totaled approximately 500 people who were leaders of all Work Units within Sam Ratulangi University as well UNSRAT Supervisory Board. This UNSRAT Working Meeting was special because it was attended by a number of important invitees including the Minister of Research and Technology / Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency, Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, SE., MUP., PhD, Governor of North Sulawesi Province as Chair of the Board of Trustees of Sam Ratulangi University, Mr. Olly Dondokambey, SE, Director General of Research and Development Strengthening, Mr. Dr. Muhammad Dimiyati, special staff to the Minister, Mr. Danang Rizki Ginanjar, MBA and Chairman of the North Sulawesi Provincial DPRD, Mr. Andrei Angouw and Regional Leader of Bank BTN Manado Reinhard Manullang, Chair of the UNSRAT 2020 Working Meeting committee, Dr. Herman Karamoy, SE., MSi., Ak in his speech gave a rhyme "Walking around the campus, see the campus community chatting with each other, stop to eat rice with cork fish, let's together build a superior and cultured UNSRAT"

The agenda for the 2020 UNSRAT Working Meeting is material from the UNSRAT Chancellor with the topic, “2019 Performance Evaluation and 2020 Performance Plan. Furthermore, the material from the Unsrat Supervisory Board with the topic: Directions for Supervision of the Performance of the Unsrat Public Service Agency (BLU) and a Speech from the Governor of Sulawesi North, and ended with material from the Minister of Research and Technology / Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency with the topic "Directions and Policies of State Universities related to Research and Innovation in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat., MSc., DEA in her speech said "With a shared determination we can" emphasized the commitment to self-improvement and development in all existing work units.
Various achievements have been achieved by UNSRAT in 2019, it is actually an acknowledgment of the hard work carried out collectively and guided.
The Chancellor invited all of us to continue to be committed to the vision and mission of UNSRAT, and we must dare to be the trendsetters of change. With the theme: “Dare To Go Digital”, UNSRAT is moving towards a digital campus to support an optimal and up to date learning process.

Minister of Research and Technology/Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency, Prof. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, SE., MUP., PhD in the material he brought said "Why is there Tri Dharma of Higher Education, because we as university people must provide the maximum benefit to the community, because the task of lecturers is to provide teaching that will later be better. Many are coordinated by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The existence of Sam Ratulangi University in North Sulawesi Province will be greatly felt by the community if in carrying out research and community service it does something that answers the needs of the community”.

Meanwhile, the Governor of North Sulawesi Mr. Olly Dondokambey, SE in his speech said: The role of Sam Ratulangi University in the future is expected to be able to encourage economic growth and can encourage human resources in North Sulawesi Province. The governor expects the cooperation of the Provincial Government of SULUT and UNSRAT, the palm area waving really - really waving continuously in North Sulawesi Province.

This UNSRAT Working Meeting was coupled with the Inauguration of the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Law UNSRAT which was funded by the Islamic Development bank (IDB), the handover of ambulance assistance from the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, the handover of assistance for buses from the Governor of North Sulawesi Province and the handover of car assistance.
