Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA who is also the Chairperson of the Eastern Indonesia Higher Education Consortium, initiated the Virtual Meeting of the PTN – KTI Consortium which was held today.
The Eastern Indonesia Universities Consortium remains consistent and responsive in responding to various educational issues in Eastern Indonesia, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
This creative response was carried out through virtual meetings involving the Chancellors of State Universities in Eastern Indonesia and received a positive response from all members of the Consortium. Through this Virtual meeting, it also produces anticipatory steps during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA who is also the Chair of the PTN – KTI Consortium in her speech said: Universities are in a condition where there have been changes in working, interacting and transacting from an educational perspective. This is where we are required to be able to integrate technology in the application of lifelong learning in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. If the size is so, then it is undeniable that the learning process must meet the concept of blended learning. At least lecturers must be able to use Learning Management System-based channels in the learning process.
This Zoom Meeting also discussed the implementation of UTBK, UKT and other matters related to the existence of PTN - KTI during the Covid 19 Pandemic.
