Inauguration of the Education Building and FPIK Auditorium Building and the Opening of the 55th Anniversary of FPIK

Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA, in her speech said: This Auditorium building can be used as well as possible and this building can be used by other faculties as long as it is not used by FPIK, this is a facility located in FPIK but its utilization is for the benefit of UNSRAT.

The Chancellor hopes that the COVID-19 pandemic can end soon so that activities and lectures can return to normal.

FPIK must increase collaboration both domestically and abroad, also during this Covid 19 pandemic.

The Chancellor challenged the increase in study programs that have not been accredited A to obtain accreditation A, also making study programs internationally accredited because it has entered the target of UNSRAT.

The Chancellor encouraged lecturers at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences to do a lot of research and continue to innovate that is breakthrough and increase articles/journals, increase the number of lecturers with doctoral qualifications and increase professors.

The Chancellor also reminded that increasing HAKI (Intellectual Property Rights) with the number of lecturers with doctoral degrees allows their lecturers to do a lot of research.
