Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA in her speech said: Through this Introduction to Campus Life for New Students, it is hoped that new students will already know the facilities and infrastructure that can be used to support the learning process and have understood the procedures for accessing them through mechanistic processes as well as through social interaction with senior students. , teaching staff, educational staff and especially the leaders in the faculty.

The Chancellor had conveyed at the opening of the PK2MB last that in the learning process of new students, younger siblings will be guided, educated and taught by qualified lecturers, both from the cognitive (thinking), affective (attitude) and psychomotor (skills) aspects, with the hope that students New graduates will become UNSRAT alumni who have scientific abilities and expertise, have commendable and skilled attitudes and integrity that will be useful for the Nation, the State and mankind.
