Opening of Dynamic Archive Management Technical Guide

Manado's Sam Ratulangi University held the opening of the Technical Archive Management Guide, Wednesday (3-5/07) at the Unsrat Archives Building. Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA in her speech said, In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 43 of 2009, that Archives are: Records of activities or events in various forms and media in accordance with the development of information and communication technology made and accepted by State Institutions, Regional Governments, Educational Institutions, Companies, Political Organizations, Social Organizations, and Individuals in the implementation of social life, as a nation and state.

The Chancellor continued, this activity is to realize archives as performance indicators and preserve strategic archives through modern restoration systems, digitization, and information network systems.

"I hope that all Bimtek participants can take part in this activity with full sincerity so that in the future the implementation of e-Archives with the Static Archival Information System (SIKS) and the Dynamic Archival Information System (SIKD) at UNSRAT will soon be realized." kumaat said

The Chancellor motivated the Bimtek participants to have a strong spirit and determination to move towards a better direction, and to be able to take advantage of this activity to improve professionally and increase our expertise.(**/AR)
