Laying the First Stone for the Construction of a Place of Worship (Church) UNSRAT

Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA in her speech said: Without the laying of the first stone, it is impossible to lay the next stones, but because of God's love it is possible to lay the first stone for the construction of a place of worship (church) on campus.

Sam Ratulangi University through the Governor of North Sulawesi, Mr. Olly Dondokambey SE provided assistance in building the Campus Church.

This is the longing of Sam Ratulangi University with a new Church, a representative Church where the Church will be a place of religious education for all Christian religious denominations including Catholic, Adventist, Pentecostal and GMIM to worship at the Campus Church.

Governor of North Sulawesi Mr. Olly Dondokambey SE in his speech said: Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic growth in North Sulawesi is growing.

With good cooperation, of course, it will be beneficial for all of us to build the region together.

The government's task is to be present in the midst of society, one of which is together with Sam Ratulangi University to build this church building.

The presence of the Governor of North Sulawesi to Sam Ratulangi University is in order to lay the first stone for the construction of the new Campus Church to support UNSRAT facilities and infrastructure.
