Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA in her speech said: The first visit of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to Sam Ratulangi University is an extraordinary attention given by the Ministry of Health to the Province of North Sulawesi, especially UNSRAT.
Mr. Visit. Minister of Health Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. dr. Terawan Agus Putranto Sp. This Rad (K) is in the context of giving incentives to the PPDS Resident of Sam Ratulangi University.
The Chancellor appreciated the Governor of North Sulawesi, Mr. Olly Dondokambey SE who has tried and struggled to get help from the central government for residents in North Sulawesi.
Governor of North Sulawesi Mr. Olly Dodokambey SE in his speech said: The people of North Sulawesi are very grateful to the President and Vice President because complaints from the people of North Sulawesi are always taken into account by the central government with lots of assistance.
The governor hopes that the economy in North Sulawesi must continue to run and can grow rapidly again, especially in the health sector that is always supported by the central government.
Indonesian Minister of Health Lt. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. dr. Terawan Agus Putranto Sp. Rad (K) in his speech said: The Central Government always listens to people's complaints, but the state has a way and has a process and there is a process so that incentives are realized for all PPDS from the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The government's efforts so far have always listened to what they felt, what they wanted and how to deal with it so that regional needs could be realized.
In this pandemic situation, we must become wiser in seeing, assessing what is right and not right, and what can support current conditions. We must be optimistic because without optimism it is impossible for us to get through this pandemic period well, the key is to implement health protocol discipline wherever we are.
