
FGD Cross-Stakeholder Discussion UNSRAT RENSTRA 2020 – 2024

Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA in her speech said: UNSRAT as a public institution engaged in education, needs to formulate a medium-term development plan in the form of a Strategic Plan or RENSTRA to reach activities in the 2020-2024 period.
The process of formulating the RENSTRA is already in the umpteenth stage through various analyses, FGDs and internal meetings, and it requires the stage of receiving input from stakeholders, it also requires strengthening from the Ministry of Education and Culture as a vertical institution where UNSRAT is under it.
In the development of the last 5 years, UNSRAT has achieved various strategic goals in the fields of Learning and Student Affairs, Research and Community Service and aspects of Institutional Governance. Regarding the aspect of Institutional Governance, UNSRAT has obtained the status of BLU and is Accredited A. The ISO-KAN certificate was also successfully obtained, namely in the management of Postgraduate and UNSRAT as well as in terms of Financial Governance it achieved WTP status by the Public Accountant Office. Those are some general descriptions of the progress achieved by Sam Ratulangi University.
The Chancellor hopes that this FGD will obtain input from stakeholders to strengthen the substance of the RENSTRA which is being formulated through this honorable forum. This forum is held online and onsite at the UNSRAT Auditorium.
This FGD was attended by Structural Officials within the Ministry of Education and Culture Sesditjen Dikti Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani MP, Head of the Planning Bureau of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Philippine Consulate General in Manado, as well as External and Internal stakeholders.
