Work Call for Early 2021

Chancellor of the University of Sam Ratulangi Prof. Dr. Ir. Ellen Joan Kumaat M.Sc DEA as Apple Trustees in her speech said: Starting the new year 2021, we are aware that we have been struggling for more than ten months to adapt to the extraordinary changes that have occurred. This global crisis reminds us that unity in thought and action is very important if we want to make changes for the better.

The implementation of higher education is now increasingly required to navigate quickly. In recent months, thousands of Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations have emerged in response to the challenges of social isolation.

The Chancellor invited all of us (as educators or education staff) to immediately adapt well. Leave the old ways or practices that are no longer in line with the demands of this rapidly changing era.

Admittedly or not, so far there has been a very fast adaptation to the use of learning technology and it turns out that working or studying from home is no less productive than working in the office and it is generally reported that creative energy has actually increased during this pandemic.

At the University level itself, various policies and approaches have been produced by Sam Ratulangi University, and of course with the spirit of togetherness and high integrity, we can overcome many problems.

The Chancellor invited all of us to carry out the mandate entrusted to us with full responsibility.
